Restoration's
goal is to improve the quality of life for
all residents of Central Brooklyn by
strengthening the local economy, family life
and culture.We carry out a wide variety of
programs and services to help us accomplish
this goal, including:
Creating
job opportunities for area residents and
providing appropriate employment
training programs to ensure a prepared
and available local workforce;
Housing
rehabilitation and renewal;
Facilitating
economic development that includes
positive partnerships with private
industry and state and local agencies;
Managing
top-notch cultural and recreational
facilities that offer attractive
programs for neighborhood residents, and
which attract patrons from all across
New York City;
Advocating
for and initiating educational
improvements for both children and young
adults;
Coordinating
available resources and directing those
resources to community services and
enterprises that improve opportunity and
quality of life for Central Brooklyn
residents.
