Colvin W. Grannum receives 2010 Dream of Equality Award from Asian American for Equality

New York City: Asian Americans for Equality (AAFE) celebrated its 36th Anniversary at its Annual Lunar New Year Celebration honoring five exceptional individuals who have worked tirelessly to build and enrich the lives of countless New Yorkers and Americans. AAFE is proud to honor their accomplishments as community advocates and builders.

The 2010 Dream of Equality awards was presented to the following leaders:

•   Honorable Margaret Chin, New York City Council Member, District 1
•   Alan Gartner, Chief of Staff, Office of the Deputy Mayor for Education & Community Development
•   Dr. Rosa Gil, President and Chief Executive Officer of Comunilife, Inc.
•   Colvin W. Grannum, President & Chief Executive Officer, Bedford Stuyvesant Restoration Corporation.
•   The Honorable Scott Stringer, Manhattan Borough President.
