FEDERAL RESERVE BANK OF NEW YORK PRESIDENT DUDLEY TO VISIT NATION’S FIRST COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION, BEDFORD STUYVESANT RESTORATION CORPORATION

EVENT
Federal Reserve Bank of New York President William C. Dudley will visit the nation’s oldest community development corporation, Bedford Stuyvesant Restoration Corporation, and participate in a roundtable discussion on issues of credit and capital access with community residents and local leaders. Dudley will tour the 300,000 square foot commercial, cultural and community facility, Restoration Plaza. Restoration Plaza is home to Restoration’s comprehensive community development programs as well as two commercial banks, Central Brooklyn’s largest supermarket (Super Foodtown), and only nationally branded full service restaurant (Applebee’s), College of New Rochelle, among other commercial businesses and nonprofits.
