To the Haitian Community,

The board of directors and staff of BSRC wish to extend their heartfelt sorrow and dismay to the members of the Haitian community of New York City. To those of you who have not heard from your loved ones, our prayers are with you. To those of you, who have lost loved ones, please accept our condolences and prayers. We will be in contact with local leaders and elected officials to determine what role BSRC can serve in assisting you through this tragic event.

We ask our online community to consider the following options in supporting emergency relief and recovery efforts to help those people affected by the earthquake in Haiti:

- Text YELE to number 501501 to donate $5 to the Yele Haiti relief fund
- Or visit their websites to donate any other amount
