Youth Arts Academy parent, Tiffany Ward shares the following story:

My daughter Breeyah Dozier has been a dance student of the Youth Arts Academy (YAA) for the past 3 years. Prior to coming to YAA, she danced with 2 other dance schools for a total of 7 years, where she gained a great foundation. However, since starting YAA, she has truly moved to the next level. For example, she could not do a full split before attending YAA and that came from the level of instruction she receives here.

The instructors are proficient in different forms of dance and demand the very best of their students. I find them to be challenging-and that's what a dancer requires in order to master their abilities. In addition, the teachers and staff have been extremely supportive of me as a parent raising a teenager and all the challenges that I have faced with school issues. They have spoken with Breeyah independently and given her words of encouragement so she would realize the importance of her education in relation to her desire to dance. YAA truly exemplifies the concept of "it takes a village to raise a child."

Lastly, I would state that Breeyah has gained tremendous confidence in her self and her dancing abilities as a reflection of her instruction received at YAA. She feels well prepared for her upcoming auditions for performing arts high schools this fall.
