Affordable Housing

A healthy community includes a diverse range of housing options suited to the needs of local residents: whether seniors, growing families, or those with limited incomes. Restoration is committed to the twin objectives of preserving affordable rental housing while creating a pipeline of affordable homeownership opportunities for low income residents in Central Brooklyn.
Bedford Stuyvesant has what it takes - beautiful, historic brownstones and plenty of rental housing at a close proximity to downtown Brooklyn and lower Manhattan. Restoration's goal is to preserve and capitalize upon these assets, ensuring their quality and affordability so that the community's longstanding residents may enjoy them for years to come. We do this by:
  • Preserving quality affordable rental housing
  • Catalyzing affordable home ownership
  • Weatherizing homes
