10K Community Run & Fun Walk

The race is one of the premier 10K’s held in all New York City. Given its proximity to the NYC Marathon, many athletes see Restoration’s 10K as a “warm up” to their long-distance run in November. One of the oldest Brooklyn run routes in New York. However, people of all fitness levels and ages are attracted to the race which has become a much anticipated community event.

The starting line for the 29th Annual 10K Community Run and Fun Walk is at Bedford Stuyvesant Restoration Plaza, 1368 Fulton Street, Brooklyn.

Highlights

* Free t-shirts and prized.
* Post-race party with refreshments and music.
* Flat, fast course designed for personal records.
Great for both causal and serious runners!
* Splits at 1, 3 and 5 miles.

Practice Runs for the 29th Annual 10K Run/Fun Walk
Practice for the 29th Annual 10K, meet other runners and get familiar with the race route. We have scheduled four and we hope you will participate.

Kiddie Run
We are now holding a special run just for the kids! come join us for our 1st Annual FREE "Kiddie Run".From age 2-8.
The race is approxmiately one block long, located on Herkimer Street. Click here to register your child(ren) for the Kiddie Run!

• Form a team – if you assemble a team of five or more individuals, register for only $15 per person. Student teams of five or more can register at $15 per person.  (register for $20 per person.) Contact us at 718-636-6953 or email djones@restorationplaza.org.

$20 for Adults, $15 for 17 & below
(Deadline September 25th ; after 9/25 it's $25 per runner $20 dollars for 17 & below and $30 dollars on the day of the race)
