Saturday, September 23, 2017 LifeCycle Biking will set intentions, ride, and stretch to raise funding and awareness for Bedford Stuyvesant Restoration Corporation (Restoration) and their Center for Healthy Neighborhoods

HELP LIFECYCLE BIKING ACHIEVE THEIR GOAL OF REGISTERING 100 RIDERS TO BENEFIT RESTORATION IN ADDRESSING HEALTH DISPARITIES DISPROPORTIONATELY AFFECTING LOW-INCOME HOUSEHOLDS AND RESIDENTS OF COLOR THROUGH INCREASED ACCESS TO HEALTHY FOODS AND INCREASED OPPORTUNITIES FOR PHYSICAL ACTIVITY.

Restoration spearheaded programs such as the Citi Bike equitable bike share to bring cycling and it's benefits to the Bedford Stuyvesant neighborhood of Brooklyn. They continue to support the neighborhood through health focused initiatives like local farmers markets, free exercise classes, local food sourcing for child care centers, financial awareness programs, and more. 

THE ANNUAL CYCLING CIRCUIT FEATURES:

Three bike routes (15.5mi/25km, 31mi/50km, & 62mi/100km)

Light breakfast

Pre-ride meditation

Fully staffed hydration stations along all routes

On the road support vehicles

FREE Citi Bike rentals for 15.5mi/25mi riders

Community cheerleaders

Wellness Wrap Up After Party with post-ride yoga, great music, healthy snacks, and more!
