Rites and Ceremonies of the Brooklyn African Diaspora

Join the Brooklyn Historical Society on Wednesday for a symposium featuring organizers and founders of the ceremonies and rituals that create the annual calendar of celebration and remembrance of the African diaspora. Organizers will discuss events such as the West Indian American Labor Day Parade, Juneteenth and the International African Arts Festival.
