Presenting the works of Dante Yarbrough, we will explore the aesthetics of the body and translations of shape, form and color. In his early work, Dante shows the female form as loose figurative renderings. His later paintings portray the body as abstract, depicting a complete ghosting of the physical body. The 2,000 square foot Skylight Gallery is Central Brooklyn's premiere visual arts exhibition space, featuring a wide range of established and emerging artists from throughout the African Diaspora. Located on the 3rd Floor of Restoration Plaza, the Skylight Gallery also serves as a unique gathering place and resource for aspiring artists, artist organizations, and community groups. In addition to its regular exhibit schedule, the Skylight Gallery hosts a number of special monthly events from book signings to artists talks.

The Skylight Gallery is open to the public from Wednesday to Friday from 11AM to 6PM and on Saturday from 1PM to 6PM. Exhibitions are free of charge.
