• Tax Preparation Assistance- A major untapped source of cash for low income families is the Earned Income Tax Credit. Approximately 35,000 individuals in Bedford Stuyvesant are eligible for EITC while only roughly 25% actually claimed these returns. Restoration is committed to increasing access to this major resource. Toward this end, we’ve provided low cost tax preparation both at Restoration Plaza and at convenient sites throughout Bedford Stuyvesant over the past few years and will continue to strive to educate low income households about the resources available to them and to facilitate access to earned income tax credits.
