Youth Development

Since our inception, Restoration has been committed to helping youth reach their full potential. Our programs empower youth to believe in themselves, hone their skills and attain personal goals- be that graduating high school, enrolling in college, mastering an instrument or performing on stage.

Restoration collectively serves close to 2,000 youth each year. Some receive instruction in dance, drama, and music through the Youth Arts Academy and art residents The Noel Pointer Foundation School of Music and the Brooklyn Youth Chorus. Others attain college prep, leadership development, job training and placement through our College Access Center at Boys and Girls High School. And still countless more come to Restoration for family events like our annual Robert F. Kennedy Memorial Holiday Party with its theme of early literacy or for community events like our Annual 10K Community Run and Fun Walk.
