General Job Seekers
Restoration’s RITE Career Center provides a continuum of services to help both unemployed and underemployed job seekers and currently employed individuals looking for career advancement. Job seekers are provided a comprehensive assessment of their career goals, educational levels, work experience, current income and support systems, financial planning needs, and any barriers to employment and advancement they may have. Career Coaches then help develop short- and long-term career goals and implement strategies for achieving those goals.
Restoration's experienced job developers are working with local area employers to identify suitable candidates. Below are just a few positions that we are currently searching for prospective candidates.
Ramp Agent - No experience Necessary , Must not have the following Criminal Background or Drug use. Will be trained for the position
Plane Maintenance – Will be responsible for the cleanliness of the inside of the planes . Also no criminal background or Drug use.
Bookkeeper – 1 year experience must have some knowledge of Peachtree or Quickbooks
File Clerk - 6 months experience with strong office skills and light typing skills. Must have great computer skills
Security – Must have Security License
Home Health Aide Position – 3 weeks training available at no charge to individuals whom are interested. Will receive employment once training is completed.
Bilingual Case Manager – Must have a bachelors Degree and at least 1 year experience
Clerical Position (Bilingual) – Great Computer skills, good office skills , must be willing to grow within the Home Health Aide Field.

- In addition to personalized coaching, services include: Job Readiness Essentials: a two to four week course that focuses on soft skills such as professional workplace behavior, customer service skills, attitudinal issues, respect for diversity, supportive communication, and conflict management.
- Job Readiness Basics: a one to six week course that focuses on job search skills such as resume and cover letter development and interviewing techniques. This course incorporates current BSRC services, such as the Interviewing Workshop and Microsoft Office computer classes. Clients also receive ongoing intensive case management.
- One-on-One Counseling with a job developer who will help job-ready clients with their self-directed searches for approximately one to eight weeks. They will then begin an internship at BSRC or one of its partners or secure permanent employment.
- Linkages to additional training and education including vocational or hard skills training programs or degree programs that align clients with their career goals. Clients are encouraged to access extensive network of educational partners which include the Brooklyn Adult Learning Center, NYCHA, and the College or New Rochelle.
