Partnership for a Healthier NYC

The Partnership for a Healthier NYC is a citywide campaign funded by a community transformation grant from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention. Through the initiative, Restoration has been selected to act as the borough lead organization in addressing disparities in health outcomes across Brooklyn. The primary goals of the initiative are to increase the number of opportunities for active living, ensure the prominence of healthy foods in schools and in every resident’s diet, and discourage the consumption of tobacco, alcohol and sugar sweetened beverages with an emphasis on youth.
