Employment and Income
The Jobs Plus program provides integrated employment services and community supports to select public housing residents to empower them with the skills to secure and maintain meaningful employment.
Restoration serves a contracted provider for two Jobs Plus sites on behalf of the New York City Human Resources Administration. Since 2011, we have operated our Jobs Plus North site originally serving Marcy, Armstrong and Lafayette Gardens. Starting July 1, 2021, we will expand to include Tompkins Houses. Representing NYC’s only Jobs Plus site being funded the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, our Jobs Plus East site serves families in Penn Wortman Houses in East New York. Our goal is to develop long term, transformational relationships with residents to help them achieve economic stability and mobility.
Serving only NYCHA residents from Marcy, Lafayette Gardens, Tompkins and Armstrong I and II Pfizer Building, 630 Flushing Avenue, 2nd Floor, Brooklyn, NY 11206
Serving NYCHA residents of Penn Wortman only 425 New Lots Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11207
Teacher, Bedford-Stuyvesant
