Restoration owns and leases a number of commercial, retail, and business spaces both in Restoration Plaza and beyond, working to drive economic growth in Bed Stuy and provide both essential services to the community as well as space for small businesses to launch and grow. We maintained a 43 tenant occupancy during the pandemic, working with our tenants to pay their rents and reopen safely. Some of our spaces have been leased by clients of the Brooklyn Business Center, who receive ongoing counseling that help their business sustain and grow. 

 

Many businesses, nonprofits, and human services organizations call Restoration Plaza and the Fulton Street/Nostrand Avenue business corridor home. Businesses range from education, grocery and restaurant, post office, health services, childcare, banks, arts, financial and social services. We also offer commercial leasing and rentals for businesses and nonprofits interested in setting up shop in this thriving community.  The Bedford Stuyvesant Gateway Business Improvement District (Bed-Stuy BID) serves the merchants, residents, and patrons on Fulton Street and Nostrand Avenue.
