Entrepreneurs of color and from low-income communities often lack the resources and connections to transform their dreams into self-sustaining realities. For five years, the Brooklyn Business Center has worked to fill this crucial need by connecting both aspiring and established entrepreneurs to one-on-one business coaching, access to capital, mentoring, and business planning classes.
Our staff is made up of experienced, dedicated professionals who offer in-depth client engagement and we partner with industry experts who provide insightful advice and mentorship for achieving entrepreneurial success.

Our Services Include:
One-on-One coaching and counseling
Clients can meet with our highly skilled counselors and obtain ongoing, free assistance to review any facet of their business. Our staff will work to understand your business needs and provide solutions specific to them. Whether you are an established entrepreneur or just starting out, our counselors will work with you and provide the resources necessary to make impactful decisions to grow and improve your business.
We provide small business owners with ongoing assistance in developing business plans and implementing them. We also offer a 60-hour Business Planning course to help you plan, build and grow your enterprise. The course uses NxLevel materials and aims at helping participants prepare a formal plan by the end of the course.
BBC works with clients to certify their businesses as Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprises, a crucial steppingstone to generating business growth and opportunity. This is a major program of New York State and City to provide contracts to qualified firms. We assist with the 3-in-1 application to certify your business with the State, the City and the New York/New Jersey Port Authority.
Restoration will connect you with a financial counselor to show you how to create a budget that fits your income bracket and daily routines, enables you to grow your wealth, and make productive decisions to plan for the future.
We offer a wide range of public benefit enrollments designed to meet the needs of the client and connect them to employment, stability and self-sufficiency.
Restoration will pair you with a staff member to walk you through the enrollment process and help you to understand what is needed to qualify.
Having a good credit score is crucial for financial stability. Our financial counselors help you take productive steps toward improving your credit score and growing your financial opportunities.
It’s possible to alleviate debt and achieve financial stability through straight-forward, accessible steps. At Restoration, we’ll pair you with a financial counselor to help you on that path.
